WebAnnotates supports GitHub Copilot cloud and local Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, and GitHub Copilot CLI runners. Local agents use the user’s existing CLI authentication.

Can WebAnnotates create a local fix or pull request?

Yes. Local coding agents can plan, implement a fix in an isolated Git worktree, or push a branch so WebAnnotates can open a pull request through the connected GitHub repository.

Do local coding-agent credentials leave the user’s computer?

No. Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, Git, and Copilot CLI credentials stay on the paired computer. The runner uses outbound HTTPS polling and only claims jobs for the requesting user and verified repository.
